Sanford A. Schulman has handled thousands of cases. He is well known in the legal community as a trusted and experienced litigator. He has handled uncontested divorce cases as well as divorce trials, appeals, mediation, and arbitrations.

Sanford Schulman grew up in the Detroit Metropolitan area and graduated from Cranbrook High School in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and Kalamazoo College. He also attended Cambridge University, Fitzwilliams College and studied Spanish and Political Science at the University of Madrid, Spain.

He is a 22 year member of the State Bar of Michigan, Wayne County Bar Association, Oakland County Bar Association.

Sanford Schulman has appeared in almost every Michigan district and circuit court as well as the Michigan Court of Appeals, the Michigan Supreme Court, various federal district courts in Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, New York, New Mexico, the Sixth and Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and last October won a case 5-4 in the United States Supreme Court.
